Faith
Cut away this pain,
And let it run,
Heal these opened scars within,
Fill me again,
With faith in something,
Or hope for something better,
A want for love,
Satisfied,
A feeling of loneliness,
Pacified,
Even a blind eye could see,
The scars in me,
Even a deaf ear could hear me,
Screaming for a better place,
Give me a little faith,
Something to believe in,
No gods, no saviours,
Just a feeling,
The hope would return,
That I could hear my thoughts,
Again,
A leap I’m willing to take,
A sacrifice I’m willing to make,
To close the scars,
To bring release.
The Dream of You
I touch you,
And a shot runs up your arm,
Spreads across your chest,
Warms your thighs,
And chills your spine,
I kiss your neck,
And the sensation,
Makes your head swim,
I run my fingers,
Down your arm,
They leave a trail of heat,
I run my fingers,
Through your hair,
You utter a sound of pure delight,
I blow lightly,
On your ear,
And cheeks turn red,
I bite your lip,
And your hands wander,
Clutch my back,
I take your shirt off,
You start to sweat,
And then it stops,
And I awake.
Self Loathing
If you could see,
The fire in my eyes,
It’s my personal proof,
Everybody cries,
I still tell the same lies,
And still dream the same dreams,
The screams reverberate,
As I slide down the repetitive spiral,
My fear of rejection,
Embodied,
Sheds my tears,
My resentment laughs,
At the sorry sun,
As it slides away,
If I could see what I wanted to see,
Would my eyes burn?
All the time,
This sublime pain,
Aches within me,
Is it love or hate,
I just wish I was free,
From the intolerable pain,
This pain that tolerates me,
And all the time,
I still can’t breathe.
Cut away this pain,
And let it run,
Heal these opened scars within,
Fill me again,
With faith in something,
Or hope for something better,
A want for love,
Satisfied,
A feeling of loneliness,
Pacified,
